Namaste!Welcome to Ruchkar Mejwani with Smita.
All of us like fritters or tikkis.
Hence, today I’ll be showing you a special recipe i.e. ‘Kansachi Tikki’ (Corn Tikki).
I have taken 12 kg corn i.e corn kernels here.
I have grinded them in a mixer.
I am going to add 1 cup finely chopped green bell peppers.
1 cup red bell peppers.
5-6 finely chopped green chilies.
1 cup finely chopped coriander leaves.
I am going to mix everything well.
Doesn’t this look nice and colorful?
Now, let’s add 3 finely chopped onions and mix that as well.
I have taken 2 cups rice flour.
I am going to add it and bind everything nicely.
The bowl is small hence, it is difficult for me to bind it.
Hence, I am transferring it to a plate.
I am going to add leftover flour and bind it nicely.
If you feel the rice flour needs to be added you can add more rice flour to it.
We don’t need water while binding the flour as the onions release water once salt is added.
I am adding some water to it.
The binding is done nicely. Now, let’s start making tikkis.
Let’s make small balls and then flatten them.
I have already kept oil on heat.
The oil is hot now.
Let’s fry these now.
Let’s lower the flame and allow it to cook from within.
Let’s make other tikkis until these are frying.
They are fried nice and golden.
Let’s remove them now.
Let’s fry the rest of the tikkis.
Even these tikkis have turned out nice and crispy.
Let’s remove these as well.
Let’s plate them in a serving platter.
And serve it with a nice green chutney.

Add rice flour and knead it nicely. Add little water, knead well. Make small tikkis and heat oil in a vessel. Fry the tikkis in hot oil on medium flame. Once they are done frying, take them out on a plate.
